A blurry image on the net is said to be the follow-up to Nokia's surfboard N800. In that case it will, unlike the N800, have a real qwerty keyboard. The N800 is a Linux-based surfboard, that lacks mobile telephony but is equipped with WLAN.
The new blurry images of what is said to be a successor to the Nokia N800 are from the Engadget website. The N800 lacks a keypad and is in principle controlled completely via a touch screen. This seems to have been changed in the upcoming version.
The N800 is not a phone in the regular sense, as it lacks mobile phone connectivity. It does however have WLAN, and it can be used for IP telephony using Skype. It is mainly intended as a surfboard, for those who want to surf the net without having to sit in front of a computer screen.
