2007-08-01 16:49
HTC has not yet launched its upcoming model HTC P4500, also called Kaiser. But on a Swedish distributor's website it is already possible to read about and watch images of the coming model.
On the smartmobile.se website it is possible to find the HTC P4550.
That HTC has a follow-up to the Tytn on its way is hardly a secret anymore. For a long time rumours and images have floated on the net regarding the model called Kaiser. HTC, however, have not uttered a word on the matter.
Now it is possible to see images and read about the P4550, which is the real name of the model, in a website maintained by the Swedish distributor Dangaard. The specs are relatively short, but from the images it is apparent that it is a model where the screen can be slid downwards and then turned in an angle upwards.
According to the specifications it has turbo 3G but it does not support the faster version HSUPA, which means that the speed sending data is maximum 384 kilobits per second.
There is no information on whether the P4550 has internal GPS or not.
However, the information about a 3-megapixel camera is confirmed, and it does have autofocus. The screen is touch type TFT, measuring 2.8 inches capable of displayuing 65.000 colours. In addition to turbo 3G and ordinary 3G it also supports EDGE and WLAN. Getting connected to a wireless network is possible using both 802.11b and 802.11g of which the latter gives speeds up to 54 megabit per second. The P4550 is equipped with the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system.
Mobil Magazine has tried to reach Dangaard for a comment, but it replies that all persons related to the matter are currently on vacation.
