New update for the P990

Sony Ericsson has now released an update for the P990, this shortly after having stated that there would not be any more updates and then having changed its mind.

The new version of the software is called R6E28. Neither this time has Sony Ericsson stated anything about what changes or bug fixes are included.

The bugs that P990 users are exposed to vary, and therefore it is hard to get the full picture of what could have been corrected and what is remaining issues. On the net reports exist of continuing problems receiving calls and SMS text messages, even after the update.
