Sony Ericsson's CEO steps down

Miles Flint resigns from the post as Sony Ericsson's CEO. He is replaced by Hideki Komiyama, the present chariman of the board at Sony Electronics US.


Miles Flint resigns as CEO of Sony Ericsson

November 1 is the last day at Sony Ericsson for current CEO Miles Flint. His successor will be Hideki Komiyama, nicknamed Dick. Komiyama is presently the chairman of the board at Sony Electronics in the US and vice president of marketing and strategy at Sony Corporation Japan.

- After almost 17 years within Sony and Sony Ericsson I want to develop new personal and business possibilities and intend to take a short break in my career before I decide on my next step, says Miles Flint in a statement.

Ericsson's CEO Carl-Henrik Svanberg says in a comment that Flint's
