Prize-winning Windows mobile to Europe
September 18, 2007
Samsung's coming smartphone F700 will be on the European markets in November. In addition to the prize-winning touch screen user interface Croix, the phone has a complete qwerty keyboard. The operating system is Windows Mobile.
Samsung F700 is a Windows Mobile phone with an extendable keyboard leading thoughts to HTC models. But the phone will also have an Iphone-inspired touch screen user interface called Croix, having won the Design Forum International prize in Germany.
The phone is said to be equipped with turbo 3G, 3-Mpx camera, Bluetooth 2.0, memory card slot for microSD cards and a media player handling the encodings H.263 and H.264. The screen measures 3.2 inches with a resolution of 432x240 pixels. The size is 112x56x16 mm.
Even if the phone is on its way to Europe, there is no information on in which countries it will be available.
