The Iphone will reach all European countries eventually, but in the shape of a Sony Ericsson. It is now clear that the 3G version of the Iphone will be a co-operation between Sony Ericsson and Apple. Apple will market the phone using the name Iphone X2, while Sony Ericsson will market it as Xperia X2.

Images and facts have leaked onto the net about a coming Sony Ericsson, called Emelie, priced around 150-200 euro. The phone will have a 2-megapixel camera, metal cover, and the latest version of the Sony Ericsson operating system. The phone is likely to be launched next week.

Apple has applied for a patent of what looks like a foldable Iphone. The patent itself is for a transparent touch-sensitive panel reacting to pressure from both sides. This makes it possible to make a smaller Iphone. Unwired View has played around a bit with Photoshop and produced an image of what the Iphone might look like using Apple's pending patent.
